Notes & Policies (Please read prior to booking your holiday)

Summer: Weekly rentals only (Saturday-Saturday), shorter stays considered if a vacancy exists closer to the date.

Winter/Spring/Fall: Minimum 2 night rental please, except for Holiday Weekends.

Holiday Weekends: Min. 3 nights, shorter stay considered if last minute vacancy exists.  Please contact us for rates.

Deposits: $300 (2 bedroom)/$350 (3 bedroom) deposit for weekly reservations payable at the time of booking or before January 31 for returning guests.  Deposits for shorter/longer stays determined at the time of booking.

Cancellations: Please understand that cancellations can be difficult for a small business like ours. 75% of your deposit is refundable if cancellation is more than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to check in. If cancellation is less then 56 days before check-in, no refund is given.  If cancellation is within 14 days or less of your vacation, then you will be liable for the full amount (deposit and balance owing) and your credit card will be charged accordingly. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Payment: All rates exclusive of tax. Full payment is required at check-in. Methods of payment accepted are Cash, Visa or MasterCard.

Cottage Capacities: We do not under any circumstances allow the overcrowding of our cottages. Please note we consider infants, children & teens as guests.

Additional guests/visitors: Guests wishing to have visitors for the day or night must make prior arrangements with management. An additional charge will be applicable. Please note it may not always be possible to have additional guests. Please note we consider infants, children & teens as guests.  We do not under any circumstances allow the overcrowding of our cottages.

Smoking: We ask that our guests do not smoke inside the cottages.

Pets: Sorry, we do not allow pets of any kind under any circumstances.

Jet Skis/Sea-doo's: Please, no Jet Skis/Sea-doo's.

Noise: In consideration of  other guests our family and our neighbours, we ask that radios/CD players etc. are not played outside of your cottage and if played inside the cottage, it is at a volume  that cannot be heard outside. We also ask that for the comfort of all our guests, neighbours and family, that there is no excessive noise whatsoever after 10pm.


Check-in: 3:00pm (no earlier in summer please)  Check-out: 10:00am (sharp in summer please)
 

What to bring? As we are a housekeeping resort, please bring the following:

  • Sheets (top & bottom/fitted) & pillowcases

  • Towels for bath, beach and dish drying (tea towels) & bath mat

  • Toilet paper, paper towels, tissues

  • Dish soap, garbage bags and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc.)

  • Lifejackets (we do supply lifejackets, but if you have your own it is highly recommended you bring them)

If bringing sleeping bags, we still ask that you bring pillow cases and a sheet to cover the mattress.

We provide a starter supply of toilet paper and dish soap, plus a dishcloth and scrub pads. During winter, we supply tea towels, toilet paper, dish soap, scrub pads, dishcloths and garbage bags.

 

Guests from Overseas, we are happy to provide you with a  housekeeping package (sheets, towels etc.) for a nominal fee. Please inquire during booking.
