It as been just gorgeous up here the past few days and today is no exception. And according to Environment Canada the forecast is looking amazing for this coming Long Weekend. The lake will be warming up nicely and who knows, I may be in for a swim before the week is out!
The cottages are undergoing their usual spring clean as I speak and yesterday Joe and I from Cutters Cove, another lovely housekeeping resort here on Clear Lake, rented a stump grinder and took out some of the more annoying stumps at both of our places. For those of you reading this who are regular guests, I removed all the stumps that were out in front of cottgaes 3, 4, 5 & 6, plus a large one that was smack dab in the middle of the campground. That will make it much easier for pulling in and parking campers etc, this summer for sure.
I have also put up brand new posts for the volley ball/badminton court and installed a brand new net. It actually looks quite flash if I may say so.
Went out for our usual evening boat ride last night and saw our 2 loons. Also had a mother duck and her babies at the beach yesterday and on my morning walk with Mollie came across a deer.
